U.S. as Colony

Media pundits are beginning to say that recent political events suggest that the U.S. is becoming a third-world country. This is, in fact, the successful culmination of an Establishment effort that began in the 1970s.

During the 1950s and 1960s, European countries had to give up almost all of their colonies worldwide. Seeing that the days of actually owning colonies – to supply cheap labor, dependent consumers, and natural resources – was ending, the permanent owners of the U.S. decided to turn the U.S. itself into the equivalent of a colony – a home-based third-world country with a permanent underclass and a powerless middle class, under the control of a small group of mega-rich corporations and individuals.

It’s working.
